Filming tips for great content

You don't need a pro setup. A phone and good lighting go farther than any camera gear.

  1. Always shoot vertical (9:16)

    Native to TikTok, Reels, and Stories. Give yourself extra headroom — crop down, never up.

  2. Film near a window

    Natural side light is your best friend for drinks. It makes the color pop and gives you that editorial feel for free.

  3. Lead with the pour

    The first 2 seconds decide everything. A satisfying pour or a bold hook in frame one stops the scroll.

  4. Keep the label visible

    Nooly should be recognizable in at least one shot. Bottle on the counter, in your hand, or centered in frame.

  5. Record extra B-roll

    Grab 10–15 extra clips: the bottle on its own, close-up of the liquid, your drink from above. Gives you way more to edit with.

  6. Use trending audio early

    When a sound is blowing up, use it that day — not next week. Sound-led content gets significantly more reach on TikTok and Reels.

  7. Don't over-edit

    Raw and real often outperforms polished. One clean cut is better than twenty transitions. Let the product breathe.

  8. Post within your peak window

    Check your analytics for when your audience is most active. For most creators, 7–9am or 6–9pm local time performs strongest.

Don't do this

  • Don't show or imply mixing with alcohol unless you've cleared it with the team.
